THE THREE LIVES OF LUCIE CABROL

This is an evocation of peasant existence, told through the life of Lucie Cabrol, a peasant woman from the Haut Savoie in France. The events on which the play is based are still remembered and talked about in Lucie's village and are retold by John Berger in his collection of stories celebrating peasant survival - Pig Earth.
