THE THREE LIVES OF LUCIE CABROL Based on a story by by John Berger Adapted by Simon McBurney and Mark Wheatley Produced and performed by Northbrook College Drama Department 2004 This is an evocation of peasant existence, told through the life of Lucie Cabrol, a peasant woman from the Haut Savoie in France. The events on which the play is based are still remembered and talked about in Lucie's village and are retold by John Berger in his collection of stories celebrating peasant survival - Pig Earth.
